Safety + Sanitation Procedures

Hot Chicken Takeover's updated response to COVID-19. We will continue to share new and revised procedures as we reopen our restaurants in the coming weeks.

The health and safety of our team and our guests is always top of mind and our highest priority. Over the last few months, we have been monitoring the CDC’s protocols and have been actively adapting our restaurants to ensure we are doing everything we can to support our community’s efforts to fight the spread of COVID-19.

We’ve outlined our enhanced procedures below and will continue to update this page as we reopen our restaurants.

Social Distancing Guidelines

All HCT locations have designated floor markings, upholding 6 feet distancing protocols set by the CDC. Please stand on one of the available markers while waiting for your carryout order inside our restaurant or on our patio.

Hyper Focused Sanitation

At least one member of our team will be dedicated to sanitizing our restaurant at all times. All guest touch points will be sanitized after each use: doors, counters, pin pads, tables, stools, highchairs and trash cans.

Prepackaged cutlery, drinks + condiments

We have removed our drink and ranch stations from all restaurants. We will pre-pour all items and include pre-packaged cutlery with your order. We have also removed our paper towel rolls and have replaced with single use napkin dispensers.

Carryout + Curbside Pick-up

Our restaurant is closed for dine-in orders. We will be offering curbside pick-up and carryout at all locations. Place your order online or call ahead for convenient pick-up.

Face Masks

All HCT team members will wear face masks on every shift. We strongly encourage our guests to wear face coverings for the protection of our team and customers, but will not require a mask to enter our restaurants.

Team Member Wellness Checks

All HCT team members must pass a temperature and wellness check before clocking in on each shift. Our wellness checks will strictly follow the Ohio Department of Health’s employer guidelines.

Enhanced Restroom Cleaning Protocols

Our restrooms will be sanitized after each use. Our team will clean all guest touch points including doors, faucets, toilet flush valves and changing stations.

Restaurant Sanitation Stations

Sanitizer stations will be installed throughout our restaurants. In addition, each table will include a sanitizer bottle and sanitizer wipes, which will be thoroughly cleaned by our team after each use.
