Last month was National Recovery Awareness month and Hot Chicken Takeover partnered with Amethyst to help women in their recovery journey.
During September, we offered limited-edition turquoise shirts for purchase at our restaurants and $5 from each shirt went directly to Amethyst.
We made the donation during The Big Give to amplify your generosity. We’re proud to share that a total of $2,150 was donated to Amethyst as a result. This donation directly impacted 61 women in the Amethyst program. The donation fueled the purchase of kitchen sets to allow them to cook and prepare their own food as they transition towards a new future.
We see first-hand the importance of the work Amethyst does, so giving back to them aligns with us in a very personal way.
