Columbus, OH— Hot Chicken Takeover (HCT) and Mikey’s Late Night Slice (LNS) are teaming up for a sixth year, kicking their two week long collaboration off with a virtual spin on the duo’s annual fundraising party for the Columbus Diaper Bank (CDB).
On Sunday, February 14 at 6pm, HCT and LNS Founders Joe DeLoss and Mikey Sorboro will host a Valentine’s Day live stream, sharing how to make your own heart-shaped Hot Mikey’s Takeover pizza at home, with all of the classic HMT ingredients.
“We know a lot of folks will be at home for this Valentine’s Day,” said Deloss, “Whether you’ve got someone to spend it with or you’re single AF” added Sorboro, “this will be an unforgettable and unique experience that will bring us all together… kind of like the party we usually throw for this.”
Hot Mikey’s Takeover Pizza Kits for the Hot Mikey’s Takeover Valentine’s Day live stream are now on sale through Thursday, February 11 at www.latenightslice.com/store/vdayhmt, and will be available for pick-up at a choice of three HCT or LNS locations.
Since joining forces in 2016, the brands have donated more than a half million diapers to the Columbus Diaper Bank through their annual partnership. The foundation for their collaboration since the beginning, HCT and LNS will donate a diaper to the Columbus Diaper Bank (CDB) for every dollar spent on a slice or pie throughout this upcoming February’s two week run.
The duo will offer three different versions of their Nashville-style pizza throughout the month of February.
The original Hot Mikey’s Takeover pizza made with HCT Nashville Style Chicken, house made Ranch Dressing, and Pickles on an LNS pizza, will be available at all Columbus LNS locations from Saturday, February 13 through Sunday, February 21.
The Ma’s Mac Edition, an innovation on their Nashville-style pizza with the popular HCT side dish added to it, first debuting in 2019 and a staple for the collaboration ever since, will be available from Monday, February 22 through Sunday, February 28th.
A Vegan version of Hot Mikey’s Takeover, with HCT’s popular “Not Chicken,” a house made seitan, and plant based cheese and ranch dressing, will be available at the 457 N High St location of LNS on Monday 2/15, Sunday 2/21, and Sunday 2/28, each day while supplies last. Fans of LNS’s recently launched Vegan menu are expected to be particularly excited.
All three versions will be an option for the Valentine’s Day Pizza Kits.
