Columbus, OH: Hot Chicken Takeover (HCT) and Mikey’s Late Night Slice (LNS) are extending their annual collaboration with a second pizza featuring one of HCT’s famous sides— Ma’s Mac and Cheese.
“Ma’s Mac is a family recipe. Made from scratch everyday by our team, we take pride in the process,” shares Joe DeLoss, Founder of Hot Chicken Takeover. “We’re grateful for all of the support our community has shown for Hot Mikey’s Takeover over the last four years. We wanted to do something special and extend our collaboration an additional week with a new, cheesier version and provide additional diapers for the Columbus Diaper Bank.”
The new Hot Mikey’s Takeover Mac and Cheese pizza and the original recipe are available Monday February 18th through Sunday February 24th, 2019. For every dollar spent on a slice or pie, HCT and LNS will donate a diaper to the Columbus Diaper Bank (CDB).
“The best part of HMT week has always been fan engagement,” Mikey Sorboro proudly exclaims. “Knowing how amazing this is, it was really hard to keep this second week secret. But we wanted to have some fun with everyone by surprising them with something truly new and delicious.”
HCT and LNS began their collaboration in 2016 to do some good for the community and have some fun with their respective customers at the same time. Nobody could have predicted the popularity and demand for the Nashville Hot Chicken style pizza, made with the distinctive HCT flavors on the award-winning LNS pizza crust. It has become an annual event that continues to grow in anticipation, as well as continuing to benefit the CDB.
