Cleveland, Ohio – Hot Chicken Takeover (HCT), a community-minded social enterprise founded in 2014, has announced plans to expand its footprint with a new location in Westlake, Ohio. The grand opening for the brand’s fourth restaurant is slated for Summer 2019 at Crocker Park.
Known for its Nashville-style hot chicken, grandmother-approved sides, and free iced tea, HCT draws lines of fans at its first three Columbus-based locations and is lauded for its fair chance-minded approach to employment.
“When it came to selecting our first site outside Columbus,” beams Founder Joe DeLoss, “Cleveland was the obvious choice for all of us.” “We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the community and to deliver our mission: creating extraordinary experiences for extraordinary people.”
Prior to the summer public opening, HCT is partnering with different organizations to host pop-up events across the metro, starting with a free banana pudding stand on-site at the restaurant’s future home. Friends, fans, and neighbors are encouraged to stop by Main Street in Crocker Park’s Phase 3, across from retailer H&M, to meet the team and try the brand’s famous dessert that Food & Wine called “light years” better and “from a galaxy, far, far away.”
HCT is also now hiring for all restaurant leadership positions, and restaurant crew hiring will begin in the Spring. All positions can be found at HCTjobs.com.
