Hot Chicken Takeover is taking their name seriously by kicking up the spice level on their hottest chicken offering.
“We’ve had feedback from customers asking for more heat,” shares Hot Chicken Takeover founder, Joe DeLoss, “and after doing some research, we realized it made sense that instead of adding another spice option, we just enhance our hottest choice.”
Hot Chicken Takeover currently offers four heat levels; Cold, Warm, Hot, and Holy. The new blend will replace the current spice blend used for Holy. The mixture includes a variety of seasonings, but most notably cayenne pepper, which is the foundation for Nashville-style hot chicken.
“I can honestly say the new blend has been tried-and-true,” comments DeLoss, “our own team members bold enough to give it a taste have definitely tasted—and felt—a difference. We’re excited to see what our spice fans will think of what we’ve formulated.”
The new spice will be available starting Monday, May 15. Customers brave enough to try the new blend are encouraged to share photos and videos on social media using the hashtag #HolyGotHotter
