HCT PRIDE 2018 SHIRTS ARE BACK!

HOT CHICKEN TAKEOVER PARTNERS WITH KALEIDOSCOPE YOUTH CENTER

Columbus, OH – Hot Chicken Takeover is partnering with the Kaleidoscope Youth Center through a program to benefit the non-profit. Hot Chicken Takeover has produced a limited edition of PRIDE shirts for 2018, and will donate $5 from every shirt sold to the Kaleidoscope Youth Center (KYC).

“This is the fourth year in a row we’ve produced a special PRIDE shirt and donated a portion to the KYC,” shares Hot Chicken Takeover Founder Joe DeLoss. “They do tremendous work in our community, and we want to do our share to support them.”

“We’re really grateful for the relationship with Hot Chicken Takeover,” shares Kaleidoscope Youth Center Director, Erin Upchurch, “it’s through community partners like this that we’re able to build upon our programming, and increase our capacity to meet the growing needs of the community.”

In 2017, Kaleidoscope Youth Center earmarked the HCT donation for their newly-formed KYC Cycle Club program. The initiative provided participants in the program with a bicycle, but also hands-on instruction on how to ride a bike, training on cycling laws and regulations, and tips on how to maintain their bike.

“The cycle club was one of the most requested programs from our youth after its initial run last summer,” notes Upchurch. “We’re very excited we can bring it back again this year!”

These limited-edition shirts will be available in both Adult and Youth sizes this year. They may be purchased at any of the three Hot Chicken Takeover locations in Central Ohio. Adult sizes are $29 and Youth sizes are $22. Each shirt comes with a free meal and patrons who wear their shirt into the restaurant on subsequent visits will get $1 off their meal.

This year’s t-shirt was printed at Tonic Studios in Grandview.

Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival runs June 15-17 in downtown Columbus.
